Restaurant Manager £40 to £45 K DOE


A luxury food-tech start-up, revolutionising how the world experiences great food is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager. Holland Park Staffing is managing all of their recruitment Having recently launched our first delivery-only restaurant in Central London we recognise that the operational element of our business is pivotal to the success of the brand and the General Manager role sits at the heart of operations.

The Role

We’re looking for a talented individual to join as our General Manager, responsible for ensuring a seamless service from Pass to customer. This is a role you can make your own with very exciting prospects and potential to grow. Reporting directly to the MD/ founder, who is a generous collaborator that will let you shine. 


Hands on management of the evening service, monitoring the incoming orders, the pass, and the delivery driver/ waiters.

  • Monitoring bookings placed from inception to completion

  • Liaising with the chefs, the riders and the customers to ensure that everything runs smoothly

  • Waiter/Rider shift/scheduling, recruitment, training, on-boarding and development 

  • Ensuring the highest standards of customer service with orders arriving on time and in perfect condition.

  • Ensuring processes operate effectively, troubleshooting and refining procedures.

  • Taking ownership of supply chain, logistics and stock control. 

About you

You'll need to be comfortable adapting quickly and managing without a lot of external support.   • Experience of managing a quality/ high profile, busy establishment. 

  • Tech savvy to manage the multiple software platforms we use 

  • Logical and calm so you can keep the show on the road no matter what challenges pop up

  • A highly organised and skilled multitasker who loves working in a fast-paced environment

  • Experienced in recruitment and mindful of staff retention. 

  • A relationship builder with confidence to deal with customers, suppliers and partners

  • A natural eye for detail and ascetics to ensure then unformed waiter/ riders look the part on departure

  • Good geographical knowledge of London

  • Willing to get stuck in at all levels while we grow our team. 

  • Always willing to go the extra mile to keep our customers happy 

  • Have flawless written and spoken English for customer communications


  • Experience of time-critical delivery operations

  • Analytical skills, the ability to look at the data to identify where issues are occurring and to plan improvement

  • Experience in a start-up environment
